Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund
The Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund is a philanthropic initiative named in honor of SHRM GVF Past President Joe Giamboi, SPHR, SHRM-SCP (1994–1995). The fund reflects our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) by helping SHRM GVF members who may otherwise be unable to attend our evening programs due to financial barriers.
Assistance is available to members with experience in human resources or internal people functions, including HR professionals who are currently in transition. The fund is not intended for individuals working primarily in business development, sales, consulting, or vendor-based roles.
By covering event registration costs, the fund provides access to professional development, networking opportunities, and programs eligible for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits.
All requests are handled anonymously. The fund is supported entirely through the generosity of SHRM GVF members and sponsors. By making participation more accessible, the Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund helps members continue to connect, learn, and grow.
Looking to request a dinner ticket? Your requests are entirely confidential. Please submit your request here.
Please Note: For ticket requests, individuals must be current GVFHRA members (including those participating through our In-Transition Membership). As this benefit is supported by our chapter and members, we’re not able to extend it to individuals affiliated with another SHRM local chapter.
