Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund

Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund

The Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund is a philanthropic initiative named in honor of our past president, Joe Giamboi, SPHR, SHRM-SCP (1994–1995). This fund reflects our chapter’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) by removing financial barriers that may prevent HR practitioners from attending our evening programming events.

This initiative is intended to support individuals with experience in human resources or internal people functions. It is not designed for those in business development, sales, or vendor-based roles.

As we continue to expand our reach into the broader community, this fund plays an important role in supporting HR practitioners whose careers can benefit from our programming, including those who are in transition and working to maintain their HR certifications through continuing education. By covering the cost of event tickets, the fund provides access to valuable networking opportunities and HRCI/SHRM credit-eligible programming that might otherwise be out of reach.

The process is completely anonymous, and the fund is sustained solely through the generosity of our members and sponsors. By making participation more accessible, the Joe Giamboi Inclusion Fund helps strengthen our HR community by ensuring professionals can continue to connect, learn, and grow.
