Member DEI&B Spotlight (Pilot)

GVFHRA is piloting a new Member DEI&B Spotlight and we’re looking to feature members who have implemented, supported, or led a meaningful diversity, equity, inclusion, or belonging initiative within their organization.

Why We’re Doing This

Our goal is simple: to create space for members to learn from one another through honest conversation and practical application.

We know there is thoughtful work happening across our community. This spotlight is an opportunity to highlight real stories with real takeaways. We are beginning with one featured member and will explore expanding the spotlight based on member interest and engagement.

What Participation Looks Like

Selected members will participate in a facilitated, interactive peer roundtable discussion. Together, we will explore your experience and collaborate on developing a practical resource attendees can bring back to their own organizations.

  • A brief description of your DEI&B initiative or experience
  • The challenge or need you were addressing
  • The steps you took to implement or evaluate the initiative
  • Outcomes, results, or lessons learned
  • One practical tool, framework, or insight others could apply

Initiatives of all sizes are welcome. Whether your effort was a large-scale strategy or a small but impactful change, we value thoughtful, real-world experiences.

We’re excited to continue learning from one another and thoughtfully integrating DEI&B into the way we lead and support our organizations.

Survey Summary

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at GVFHRA champions diversity and inclusion within the Chapter by monitoring local initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment, and leading efforts to diversify membership and leadership. The Committee models inclusive behaviors, encourages openness to diverse perspectives, and drives meaningful change aligned with the Chapter’s mission and values.
