Have you ever wanted to be a part of a podcast?  Well join us for our May Dinner Meeting at GVFHRA and your dream will come true! In this very special dinner meeting, we will be joined by Bethany Adams, the host of HR Tea, a podcast featuring interviews with HR leaders, researchers, students and influencers.  Bethany will be joined by HR Leader, Jameel Rush, who is the Chief Diversity Officer at Aramark.  Bethany and Jameel will be hosting a live podcast recording where GVFHRA members and guests will have an opportunity to ask questions and be featured on a podcast to be aired in Season 3 of HR Tea!

In most organizations today, we have made a concentrated effort to think about the diversity of our teams and the inclusivity of our cultures.  But our organizations are evolving faster today than ever before and the D&I efforts of the last decade will need to evolve to maintain the strides we have made in this area, as well as to continue to build on the future needs of inclusion work.  In this session, we will discuss emerging issues in the D&I space, including alignment with organizational change efforts, supplier diversity, algorithm bias, accountability frameworks, and inclusive leadership strategies.  We will examine how these issues may affect your organization and discuss efforts you can take to build strategy for the future needs of inclusion and diversity.

Learning Objectives:

  • Examine emerging issues in the diversity & inclusion space including alignment with organizational change efforts, supplier diversity, algorithm bias, accountability frameworks, and inclusive leadership strategies.
  • Analyze key metrics that can be tracked related to these emerging D&I issues.
  • Identity areas of opportunity for your own organization to build strategy for the future needs of inclusion and diversity.
